This minor provides foundational accounting skills for careers requiring bookkeeping and knowledge of organizational processes in the field. The program prepares graduates to help organizations manage budgets, utilize accounting information systems, and gain knowledge in taxation.
Why study Accounting at UNH College of Professional Studies?
This minor provides basic understanding of principles and practices in the accounting field. This is especially relevant with understanding financial statements, financial ratios, and and bookkeeping practices.
Curriculum & Requirements
All minor courses must be completed with a minimum grade of C-, and a 2.0 grade point average must be maintained in courses for the minor. Two courses must be at the upper level (600 or 700). Only 8 credits may overlap between major and minor.
