Free, Confidential Counseling

Our students have access to free counseling services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Up to six counseling sessions are available. You can meet with a professional counselor virtually, by phone, or get a referral to meet in person with a local counselor at no cost to you.

Discussions between you and your counseling professional are confidential. Information regarding your sessions cannot be released without your written consent, except by court order, in situations of imminent threat of harm to self or others, or in situations of abuse (such as child or elder abuse).

Assistance is available, but not limited, to the following:

  • Anxiety and stress
  • Relationships or family conflicts
  • Parenting concerns
  • Negative feelings such as anxiety, depression, confusion, or stress
  • Grief or loss issues
  • Life transitions
  • Crisis situations
  • Dealing with alcohol or other substance abuse
  • Any issue causing you concern

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is the leading national public health institute of the United States. They provide updates and information regarding the emerging, rapidly evolving response to the COVID-19.


211 NH is the connection for New Hampshire residents to the most up to date resources they need from specially trained Information and Referral Specialists. 211 NH is available 24 hours, 365 days a year. The Food Stamp Program is about good nutrition and health. It provides eligible individuals and households with benefits to buy food items at grocery stores and other participating food retailers. You may qualify for food stamp benefits depending on your household size, income, expenses and resources.


The New Hampshire Housing Relief Program is designed to keep people from losing their housing and to secure or maintain permanent housing. The program has two components: one-time assistance grants; and a short-term rental assistance program.
