The bachelor’s programs at Granite State College continue to earn recognition from on its annual list of . For the 2021 edition, a competitive pool consisting of 1,641 programs were assessed, a record high for U.S. News & World Report.

“Granite State College is proud of its mission and reputation for supporting the needs of working adult students,” said Tara Payne, Vice President of Enrollment at Granite State College. She adds, “Being able to offer high-quality and affordable online programs is critical to achieving this mission and the rankings from U.S. News & World Report serves as an important external indicator to our current and future students.”

Granite State College is #64 nationwide for online bachelor’s programs for veterans, #107 for its online bachelor’s programs, and #99 for online graduate business programs (non-MBA). Rankings are based on four categories: engagement, services and technology, faculty credentials and training, and expert opinion. For graduate business programs, student excellence is also considered.

Sara Ballard of Barrington, New Hampshire, is currently earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing (RN to BSN) online at Granite State College. A wife and mother of three, Ballard balances her education while working full time as a Radiation Oncology Nurse at the Seacoast Cancer Center at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, New Hampshire.

“Nursing opportunities are endless, and I want to be prepared to enter into any opportunity that arises without limitations due to education. Obtaining my bachelor’s degree is the best way to support my career goals and the online format allows great flexibility for working nurses.”

Granite State College has been a leader in online education in New Hampshire for nearly 20 years. Since the inception of U.S. News and World Report’s online rankings in 2012, Granite State College has consistently held a competitive top position. More than 3,000 students enroll at Granite State annually and nearly every student engages in online courses to complete a degree program.
